Excavator Plant Comes Online, Raising Production Capacity

2026/09/23

Jining, China – July 2026 – HUAYEE Heavy Industry Group ("HUAYEE") has brought its new factory and production line into service and moved to full-scale operation, adding production capacity at a site in Jining, Shandong Province where construction began in April 2025 with an official groundbreaking ceremony.

The plant is now running alongside the group's existing lines rather than replacing them. Production capacity has risen as a result, and the immediate commercial purpose is narrower than the headline suggests: it exists to make delivery dates easier to keep. For a distributor managing a selling season, a shipment that lands three weeks late is a worse problem than a machine that costs slightly more, because the season does not move.

From Groundbreaking to Commissioning

The project followed a sequence that took a little over a year. Approval for the additional production line and factory building came first, then construction from April 2025. The office park and warehouse centre at the same base were delivered in July 2025, which moved order coordination, engineering and dispatch into a single location. Commissioning of the new line completed the chain in July 2026, at which point the facility moved from build-out to continuous production.

What the New Line Adds to Production Capacity

The added line raises annual production volume and, more importantly, changes how the schedule behaves under pressure. Standard configurations and customised units no longer compete for the same assembly slot, which means a distributor who needs a modified machine does not have to accept a longer wait for a standard unit as well. On high-demand models, buyers with a quarterly or annual forecast can sign a reserve stock agreement so that parts and machine slots are held in advance, shortening the interval between order confirmation and dispatch for the rest of the year.

Manufacturing Standards Held at Higher Throughput

Running faster is only useful if the output is consistent, and HUAYEE's component standards do not change with the schedule. Structural members are produced to the S355 steel standard, with boom plates at 8 mm and a thickened wear-resistant plate on the arm. Structural pins are quenched and tempered to a surface hardness above 500 HB, and Continental hydraulic hoses are fitted as standard across the range. Assembly staff work to the same written procedures on the new line as on the existing ones, and inspection records from both are kept in a single format, so a buyer reading a report from either line receives the same document. Every machine passes incoming, in-process and final outbound inspection before dispatch, and progress photographs and weekly updates continue to be issued to buyers while their units are on the line.

What Distributors Should Plan For

Lead times are quoted by configuration rather than as one figure for everything: a standard specification can be scheduled ahead of a conventionally configured unit, and a fully customised build takes longer again. Distributors are therefore encouraged to confirm annual or quarterly forecasts early, because reserved production capacity and pre-purchased components are what make a short lead time repeatable instead of occasional. Reserved capacity is not unlimited. It is allocated in the order that forecasts are confirmed, so a distributor who confirms late may find the machines set aside for their region already committed elsewhere. Behind the schedule sits an engineering base that has grown with it: a research and development team of more than 60 staff, more than 60 patents covering excavator, hydraulic cylinder and undercarriage structures, and annual research spending above RMB 70 million. Buyers who want to see the machines before committing can review the HY10 mini excavator specification, or the material published from HUAYEE at CTT Expo Russia.

Standing Behind the Output

Extra throughput is only an advantage for a buyer if the machines delivered are the ones that were ordered, and HUAYEE's commitment is to keep specification, inspection and documentation identical whichever line a machine is built on. Distributors planning orders for the coming season are invited to confirm their forecasts early so that production capacity can be reserved against them, and the export team is available to discuss scheduling, configuration and after-sales arrangements.
